APSRTC's merger with Andhra Pradesh Government begins
Transition of APSRTC into the government's undertaking has begun. The committee chairman Anjaneya Reddy has met with the employee unions to inquire about their demands and suggestions.
Employees union leaders have met with the committee chairman Anjaneya Reddy. The committee has stated that no changes would be made to the way the outsourced employees and contracted employees would be treated from before.
The government would be dealing with the employees in the same way, the statement said. The meeting with the unions was to ensure their problems would be solved. Treatment meted out to retired officers was discussed as well.
