TDP leader former minister Bhuma Akhilapriya's own younger brother Jagat Vikyat Reddy moved to court on a land dispute in Hyderabad against her. In the petition, he alleged his sisters Bhuma Akhila Priya and Mounika Reddy for grabbing his land.

Former YSRCP leader Shobha Nagireddy, a wife of former minister Bhuma Nagi Reddy, has a thousand yards under Survey No. 190, 192 / A, 92 / B, in Plot No. 9, Plot No. 20 in Narendravella Rajendranagar mandal of Ranga Reddy district.

After the death of Shobha Nagireddy in 2014, the land was sold by Bhuma Nagireddy in 2016 for Rs. 2 crores. At the time of the sale of the land, Bhuma Nagireddy along with his two daughters Akhilapriya Reddy and Mounika Reddy signed the documents while the Jagatvikyat reddy being the minor gave thumb impression.

Exactly three years later, Jagat Vikyat Reddy moved the court on the land. He alleged that his father and sisters had sold the property without my consent. A petition was filed to take a share of the land. Defendants included his older sister, Akhila Priya, and the people who bought the property, S. Sudhakar Reddy (Rajendranagar), Haritha Venkata Cheemala (Rajendranagar), Subbarayya Prapulla Chanda Rataduri (Hyderabad).
