Chittoor: Meet at SV University today to highlight government achievements
District Collector Dr N B Gupta says that Ministers, people’s representatives and higher officials participate during the launch of Manapalana- Mee Aalocohana programme
Chittoor: District Collector Dr N B Gupta said that Manapalana- Mee Aalocohana week programme will be held at S V University Senate Hall , Tirupati on Monday. District In-charge Minister M Goutham Reddy, Dy.Chief Minister K Narayanaswamy, Panchayat Raj Minister P Ramachandra Reddy and other leaders will take part in the event, said.
He said on Sunday that review meetings will be held on important issues. On the eve of completion of one year term by May 30th, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed the officials to convene a meet of the elected representatives, district officers to know the response from the people on the one-year governance.
The Collector said that power point of presentation will be given in the proposed meet slated on Monday at S V University , Senate Hall, in which the progress of all departments would be displayed in a transparent manner.
He said that the performance of the volunteers and the ward secretaries was highly laudable in all respects who have rendering valuable services for combating the pandemic Covid 19. So far 16,081 volunteers were appointed and 1,361 Grama Sachivalayams were established in the district, he added. Joint Collector D Markendeyulu, Joint Collector 2 V R Chandra Mouli and others were present.
