Guntur: GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha urged women to keep their houses and surroundings clean and tidy to check spread of viral fevers. She visited Chavalikunta and Gandhinagar in Guntur city and inspected the sanitation works which were in progress.

Speaking on this occasion, she stressed on the need to segregate the garbage and suggested the women to segregate the dry and wet garbage and give it to the garbage collection workers.

She urged the women not to dump the garbage on the roads and in drains. She interacted with locals and enquired about drinking water supply in the area and instructed the engineering officials to remove taps whose connections lines were rooted from the side drains immediately. GMC deputy commissioner B Srinivasa Rao, DEE Prasad accompanied her.
