CM enquires about rice distribution
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to take necessary steps for distribution of quality rice in all the districts from April 1, 2020.
Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to take necessary steps for distribution of quality rice in all the districts from April 1, 2020. Chief Minister held a review meeting on Civil Supplies department at camp office in Tadepalli on Thursday. He enquired on the implementation of distribution of quality rice in Srikakulam district.
Jagan directed the officials to collect the required quantity of quality rice to distribute from April 1 across the state. He told the officials to create awareness among the people to return the rice bags for the recycling process. Chief Minister also directed the officials to make necessary arrangements to issue ration cards in December.
In this meeting, Minister for Civil Supplies Kodali Nani and Commissioner for Civil Supplies Kona Sasidhar attended.
