Meanwhile, coronavirus cases have also declined sharply. According to a bulletin released by the state medical and health department on Friday, 58,519 coronavirus tests were conducted across the state in the last 24 hours and 326 members tested positive. This brings the number of corona infections to 8,82,612. A total of 7,108 people have died from corona infection so far.
In the past 24 hours, 350 people have been discharged from the coronavirus hospital. A total of 8,72,266 people have been discharged so far, while there are currently 3,238 active cases. The state has so far conducted tests for 1,18,84,085 samples across the state.
Krishna district had the highest number of corona cases on Friday, while Prakasam district had the lowest number of cases. There were 53 cases reported in Krishna district on Friday and seven cases reported in Prakasam. Meanwhile, Vizianagaram district currently has the lowest number of active cases in the state at 41.
