A new type of coronavirus strain has spread in Rajahmundry. The woman, who came to Delhi from the UK, tested positive for corona and was placed in a quarantine by Delhi airport officials. But before she could get her report on new coronavirus strain, she escaped and left for Rajahmundry. Authorities seized the woman and her son and rushed them to hospital.

An Anglo-Indian woman from Rajahmundry Rural mandal Ramakrishna Nagar arrived in Delhi on a flight from the UK on the 21st of this month. Her son went to Delhi to receive her. She was tested for coronavirus in the UK but reportedly left for India shortly after the results came out. Corona tests were also performed at the airport in Delhi. She was placed in quarantine with symptoms of a new corona virus, however, she fled from there to Rajahmundry. The Delhi authorities informed the Andhra Pradesh government about this. Officers immediately entered the field and worked hard to locate her.

However, the victim's phone and her son's phone were switched off and her address was found based on her passport. Special teams entered the field and arrested the woman at Rajahmundry railway station and rushed her to a government hospital and blood samples were collected and sent to the Virology Lab in Pune for diagnosis.
