DGP inaugurates Model PS in Chebrole
Director General of Police R P Thalkur inaugurated Model Police Station constructed at a cost of Rs 1.4 crore at Chebrole in Guntur district on Wednesday.
Guntur: Director General of Police R P Thalkur inaugurated Model Police Station constructed at a cost of Rs 1.4 crore at Chebrole in Guntur district on Wednesday.
He visited all the rooms in the model police station and later interacted with the officials. The model police station was constructed in 2,000 square feet. For transparency in the administration, officials have set up closed circuit cameras at the police station.
The government provided better facilities to the cops to improve their performance. All the rooms in the police station are air-conditioned. The department has already trained the staff to be posted in the model police station to perform their duties efficiently.
South Coastal Zone Guntur range Inspector General of Police Rajiv Kumar Meena, District Collector Kona Sasidhar, Guntur rural SP S V Rajasekhar Babu and Guntur urban SP Ch.Vijaya Rao were among those participated.
