House sites for 23,286 in Markapuram by Ugadi: RDO M Seshi Reddy

Markapuram: Revenue Divisional Officer M Seshi Reddy announced here on Friday that house sites would be distributed to 23,286 poor people by Ugadi in the division.

Addressing the media, Seshi Reddy said that the beneficiaries were identified in the 12 mandals and two municipalities in the division for which 513 acres were necessary. Already, 490 acres were earmarked and the rest of 23 acres would be acquired in two days.

The Tahsildars of the respective Mandals were already instructed to complete the necessary formalities like preparing layouts, roads and others for the distribution of house sites.

Seshi Reddy said that 41.5 acres for 1,660 people in Markapuram mandal, 149 acres for 8208 peope in Markapuram Urban, 20.80 acres for 832 people in Ardhavidu mandal,20.75 acres for 1030 people in Bestavaripet mandal, 27.70 acres for 1108 people in Cumbum mandal, 15.66 acres for 627 people in Giddauru mandal, 34.85acres for 1917 people in Giddaluru Urban, 17.05 acres for 680 people in Komarolu mandal, 12.78 acres for 511 people in Racharla mandal,11.36 acres for 545 persons in Dornala mandal, 31.38 acres for 855 people in Pedaravidu mandal, 34.35 acres for 1374 people in Tripurantakam mandal, 54.23 acres for 2169 persons in Y Palem mandal would be distributed.
