Visakhapatnam: With Saturday and Sunday being holidays, majority of the MLA contestants from both YSR Congress and TDP filed their nominations on Friday. Anakapalle Lok Sabha TDP candidate Adari Anand filed nominations before Joint Collector and Returning Officer G Srujana. TDP MLA candidate from Anakapalle P Govinda Satyanarayana, Kidari Shravan Kumar from Araku constituency also filed their nominations on Friday.
YSRCP MP contestant from Anakapalle Lok Sabha Dr B V Satyavathi and MLA contestants including, Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao from Visakhapatnam South, A Adeepraj from Pendurty constituency, Avanthi Srinivasa Rao from Bheemili segment, Golla Baburao from Payakaraopeta constituency, Tippala Nagireddy from Gajuwaka segment and A Vijayanirmala from Visakhapatnam East filed their nominations at their respective returning officers.
BJP contestants P Vishnukumar Raju from Visakhapatnam North and former Mayor P Janardhana Rao from Gajuwaka also filed their nominations.Jana Sena Party Visakhapatnam South constituency candidate Gampala Giridhar also filed his nomination.
