Transport Minister Perni Venkatramaiah on Tuesday instructed the concerned revenue officials to conduct a survey of agricultural lands at Pedapatnam area and submit a report.
Vijayawada: Transport Minister Perni Venkatramaiah on Tuesday instructed the concerned revenue officials to conduct a survey of agricultural lands at Pedapatnam area and submit a report.
A group of people visited the minister's office and elaborated on their problems. The minister told the concerned officials over phone to pursue the matter and solve their problems. Pedapatnam former sarpanch I Marayanna requested the minister to issue pattas to their agriculture lands in which they have been cultivating for a long time.
The minister assured that justice will be done to them and instructed the mandal survey officer to conduct survey and send a report. RTC labour union members gave a memorandum to the minister and asked to provide job security and identify them as class IV employees and provide accident insurance, PF, ESI and other facilities.
