Ongole: The Global Economic Progress & Research Association in New Delhi announced the Bharat Ratna Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Gold Medal Award to Thella Preeti Priyanka in a presentation ceremony held on February 22, announced her family members.
Preethi Priyanka, a native of Ongole is a research scholar at Acharya Nagarjuna University and conducting the research on Software Reliability Metrics under the guidance of Dr. Ravi Satyaprasad. The GEPRA selected Priyanka for her meritorious contributions as one of the 25 other recipients of the award. She received the award through the hands of Chief Justice of Kerala High Court Venkatapathi, retired justice of Madras High Court Swami Durai and former union minister Dr. IS Basha.
The secretary of Jewett Memorial Baptist Church Thella Immanuel, pastor Augustine, parents George Jeremiah and Nirmala Vasantha Kumari and others appreciated Priyanka for selecting for the award.
