PACE students selected for state-level athletics
District-level athletics competitions were held at Gudluru Zilla Parishad High School on Tuesday.
Ongole: District-level athletics competitions were held at Gudluru Zilla Parishad High School on Tuesday. Three students of PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences were selected for the state-level athletics competition.
D Ravi Chandra, a student of Automobile Engineering secured the first place in Under-18 High Jump, M Praveen Kumar of Civil Engineering secured second place in Under-20 Long Jump and Sk Neelima of EEE secured first place in Under-20 Shot-put and Discus Throw.
Around 600 students participated in the district-level athletics competition. The selected students are going to participate in the state-level competition which will be held at Rajamahendravaram from October 4 to 6.
Dr M Sridhar, secretary of PACE, Dr M Sreenivasan, Principal, all Deans and Directors, Heads of all departments, physical directors I Madhusudan and Sunkara Giri lauded the students.
