Settipalli plots’ registration to begin from April 10
Tirupati: After the long pending Settipalli land dispute was resolved, the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) has prepared a layout for the affected land and allotted plot numbers through ‘e DIP’ system, said Joint Collector Govinda Rao. Speaking at a training programme held here on Wednesday, the JC said that plots are now ready for formal registration and the registration process will officially begin from April 10. He stressed that the documents submitted by plot holders must be carefully matched with Aadhaar card details of the applicants before the registration process is taken forward. Officials were directed to verify category number, e DIP plot number and plot boundaries to ensure that all information is accurate and complete.
The Joint Collector instructed that only after confirming that all details are in order, the files should be forwarded to the Registrar office concerned for completing registration. He underlined the need for transparency and accuracy at every stage to prevent future disputes and give clear, legal ownership to all Settipalli plot holders.
Land Acquisition Officer Sujana, TUDA Secretary Srikant Babu, Planning Officer Devi Kumar, SE Raveendraiah were present.
