SpiceJet to launch Vijayawada, Chennai service from Nov 1
A new SpiceJet flight is expected to start their services from Visakhapatnam International Airport connecting Vijayawada and Chennai from winter schedule this November.
Visakhapatnam: A new SpiceJet flight is expected to start their services from Visakhapatnam International Airport connecting Vijayawada and Chennai from winter schedule this November.
After repeated requests from Andhra Pradesh Air Travelers Association (APATA), SpiceJet has agreed to operate flights to Chennai and Vijayawada from Visakhapatnam effective from November 1.
As per the proposed timings by SpiceJet, the flight from Chennai will depart at 6.30 am and will arrive Visakhapatnam at 8 am. The flight to Vijayawada from Visakhapatnam will depart at 8.25 am and reach at 9.30 am. From Vijayawada, it takes off at 10 am and arrives at Visakhapatnam at 11 am and depart from Visakhapatnam at 11.30 am and reaches Chennai at 1 pm.
According to members of APATA, including K Kumar Raja, O Naresh Kumar and D S Varma, the route to Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada are high in demand as Vijayawada and Chennai are a business hub.
