Narasaraopet: Narasaraopet MP Lavu Sri Krishnadevarayalu said the coalition government in the state is giving top priority to improve drinking water supply. He along with the MLA Dr Chadalavada Aravinda Babu laid the foundation stone for various development works worth Rs 29.42 crore at Kasu Bragnababda Reddy Municipal Park on Ravipadu Road aimed at strengthening the drinking water supply system and developing water resources in Narasaraopet town on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, he assured that he would extend his cooperation for the development of infrastructure in Narasaraopet Assembly constituency.
The works, being taken up under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme, include expansion of drinking water supply and restoration of water resources.
MLA Aravind Babu said steps have been taken for the development of infrastructure in thetown.
