Vijayasai Reddy held a media conference in Anantapur discussing the political scenario plus developments in the region. Speaking on the occasion Reddy said that even though two Chief Ministers from Rayalaseema have been in power since the state was bifurcated none have brought development to the region.

Reddy spoke about his party's agenda saying they support the pride of the 'original' Reddys of Rayalaseema. He stated his party respects all castes and religions.

Reddy accused the government of delaying the appointment of Reddy Corporation posts saying not a single project has been taken up by the two prominent Reddy families of Rayalaseema in the last 12 years. Reddy questioned their commitment to the region, claiming they only seek votes and amass wealth elsewhere.

Reddy called on the youth to reflect on the Shribagh Pact and the region’s development, citing high migration rates and low rainfall in Anantapur. He stressed that while the state’s total water storage capacity is 1,200 TMC, Rayalaseema could store at least 100 TMC with proper projects.

He pledged that if his party comes to power, all pending projects in Rayalaseema would be completed. He also advocated for a Bundelkhand-style package under the Reorganisation Act to ensure regional growth and development.
