Deputy Transport Commissioner S Venkateshwarlu has said the Transport Department is trying to check corruption in the department and appealed to the people to give information to the officials concerned about incidents of corruption.
Vijayawada: Deputy Transport Commissioner S Venkateshwarlu has said the Transport Department is trying to check corruption in the department and appealed to the people to give information to the officials concerned about incidents of corruption.
Venkateswarlu along with other officials on Tuesday released a poster with phone number 98481 71102 and appealed to the people to call to the number. He said the transport department is rendering many kinds of services to the people related to driving license, registration of vehicles etc and appealed to the people to avail the services.
Technical Officers Association President K V Subba Rao said the transport department was giving information on website www.aprtacitizen.epragati.org and appealed to the people to get information logging on to the website. Non-Technical Officers Association president Mani kumar and others participated in the event.
