Women should catch hold of all opportunities in whatever field that was available, said A Sudha Rani, principal of Chitturi Public Schools while inaugurating the women's week celebrations organised by the Women Study Centre at the KBN College here on Monday.

Several competitions were organised for women on the college premises on the first day. After inaugurating the competitions, Sudha Rani said that women all over the world were going ahead in various fields, facing a number of challenges.
The successive governments have been introducing various programmes for the safety and security of women which are not yielding good results, she said.
Senior Lecturer K Krishnapriya said that women should participate in all fields.
College Principal Dr V Narayana Rao, Women Empowerment Forum convener Dr G Krishnaveni, lecturer O Saliaja and others were present on the occasion.
