West Godavari Superintendent of Police KN Narayan made a surprise inspection of Polavaram police station on Saturday and instructed the staff to keep the station premises clean.
Polavaram: West Godavari Superintendent of Police KN Narayan made a surprise inspection of Polavaram police station on Saturday and instructed the staff to keep the station premises clean.
He verified records of the police station and asked the officials to keep watch on the movement of persons with criminal background. He instructed them to contain gambling and cockfights in the jurisdiction of the police station. He directed the officials to create awareness among the staff on Coronavirus to prevent the virus from spreading.
He asked the staff to maintain dress code and warned against indulging in corrupt activities. The SP ordered the officials to take precautionary measures to face problem of floods to the river as it is monsoon and the danger of floods always looms large. He informed the officials that 50 per cent of the staff who is above 50 years of age in the police headquarters have been told to work from home to prevent spread of Coronavirus cases.
