Vijayawada: Yalamanchili Nageswara Rao has taken charge as Officer on Special Duty & Whole Time Director of SyndicateBank at Regional Office, Vijayawada on Monday
Prior to this assignment, Yalamanchili Nageswara Rao was the Executive Director of Vijaya Bank since January 22, 2016.
He started his Banking career as an Officer of Vijaya Bank in the year 1985 and has over 33 years of rich Banking Experience.
He rose to the level of General Manager of the Bank, handling different activities both at the field level as Branch Head and at Administrative level as Regional Head and at the Headquarters, handling key functional areas, such as Information Technology, Planning, Risk Management, Merchant Banking, Customer Relations.
He was also the Director of the Visveshvaraya Grameena Bank during 2009-10.
He hails from Kanumuru - Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and is fluent in several languages including Russian.
A Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers, he has undergone many training programmes at prestigious institutes like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Kozhikode, Kellog University USA etc.
