Kadapa: Describing Yogi Vemana University as' Brain Chid ' of YS Rajasekar Reddy, State Education Minister and also in-charge minister for Kadapa district A. Suresh has said that government will ensure for designing Yogi Vemana University (YVU) as Center for Excellency by initiating necessary measures. The minister has conducted a review meeting with University officials along with deputy chief minister Amzadh Basha, government chief Whip G.Srikanth Reddy, he assured he will initiate steps for release of RS 70crores pending funds as early as possible.
He said that the government will also initiate steps for making CB Brown library as a center for excellence linguistics by digitalizing 1 lakh books in the interest of students making research and prepare for competitive examinations. He said that in view of promoting skill development in the youth government is completing a university very soon.
Saying that his government is not against the establishment of private universities, but they would be permitted only after examining their credibility. Responding to the please of YVU VC Acharya Gulam Tariq over the completion of buildings, and full filling the posts on assistant professors, the minister assured them that would solve the problem by bringing the issue to the notice of the chief minister very soon.
