Paytm Launches New Products for Retailers
Paytm has started rolling out a new app in India called Paytm for Business along with Paytm Business Khata.
Paytm is launching a new app in India called Paytm for Business along with Paytm Business Khata. Besides, Paytm presented two more payment devices-- All-in-One Android POS device and Paytm Sound Box -- to toughen its merchant payment offerings in India. Presently in India, Paytm is associated with around 16 million merchant partners.
Paytm for Business App: Paytm for Business app allows large and small businesses aiming to simplify and digitise payments through tracking and making bulk payments to Bank Accounts, UPI addresses and Paytm Wallet. This helps both Business to Business and Business to Customer players who regularly pay to vendors, employees' allowances, and rewards or refunds to customers.
Paytm Business Khata: 'Paytm Business Khata', is integrated into Paytm for a Business app which helps set payment date, send automated reminders and get payment notifications on the user's mobile phone. The Paytm Business Khata at no extra cost downloads reports, track daily sales and collect payments through UPI or wallet.
Paytm POS Device: The All-in-One Android POS is a handheld device that enables merchants to make payments from any UPI based app, Paytm Wallet, Rupay Cards and cash. Moreover, this device has android technology and in-built cloud software, which helps in getting updates and notifications.
Other than accepting payments, the POS device also allows merchants to generate GST compliant bills, manage transactions and settlements via Paytm for Business app.
Paytm Sound Box: Paytm Sound Box is a voice-activated POS (point-of-sale) machine and not offered for free. To make payments using any UPI app, the POS machine is equipped with a barcode. So far, Paytm hasn't given any information about the pricing of the Paytm Sound Box.
