Petrol and Diesel prices today, 18 June 2020: Petrol and Diesel's prices have continued the long run of increasing the prices for the twelfth day consecutively after State-owned oil marketing companies started revising the petrol and diesel prices on daily basis.

Petrol and Diesel prices today, 18 June 2020: Petrol and Diesel's prices have continued the long run of increasing the prices for the twelfth day consecutively after State-owned oil marketing companies started revising the petrol and diesel prices on daily basis. On the other hand, the petrol and diesel prices have increased due to the centre hiking the VAT and cess.

Going by prices, petrol was increased by 55 paise per litre and diesel by 63 paise per litre in Hyderabad taking the prices to Rs. 80.77 and Rs. 74.70.

In Chennai, the petrol price per litre costs Rs. 81.32 per litre with 46 paise hike whereas diesel is priced at Rs. 74.23 per litre with a hike of 54 paise.

Petrol and diesel prices in the national capital of Delhi have witnessed a hike of 53 paise to Rs 77.81 per litre and diesel prices have also hiked by 64 paise at Rs.76.43. The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol prices being hiked at 51 paise to 84.66 and the diesel prices remained at Rs.74.93 with a rise of 57 paise.
