After disappointing fans on last Eid with his film Race 3, Salman Khan has come up with the new film Bharat. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, this film has hit the screens worldwide yesterday. The movie opened big as expected, all thanks to the stardom of Salman.
The holiday has helped the movie to get good openings at the box office. In fact, the film got the biggest opening of this year. It collected Rs.42.30 crores on the first day. Before this, Kalak was the biggest opening day grosser with Rs.21.60 crores. Bharat beat it with a huge margin.
It has also become the highest opening day grosser in Salman's career, by surpassing his previous best Rs.36.56 crores for Sultan. Meanwhile, the movie has been getting average reports and we have to see how will it fare through the weekend, to decide its fate.
