A multi-lingual actress, Parvathy Thiruvothu, has achieved great traction in her career in a span of 15 years. Hardly 32, she is known for her fiery, activist image and has not shied from taking on the entrenched male-dominated system in Malayalam cinema many times in the recent past. Her Hindi film with the late Irrfan Khan 'QaribQarib Single' released in 2017 was critically appreciated.
Known for her choosy nature and picky attitude in finalising projects, Parvathy was recently quoted in the Tamil media that she has finalised two scripts – one political and the other horror.
With both the genres being an evergreen one, it will be interesting to see which will be turned into a feature film first. This livewire heroine was even contemplating a trip to the US to take up a course in film direction before Covid-19 put paid all her plans.
