Sumanth and Aishwarya Rajesh are playing the lead roles in the spiritual mystery thriller ‘Mahendragiri Vaarahi’. Siddu Jonnalagadda will be seen in a special role in the film, which is directed by Santosh Jagarlapudi. Kalipu Madhu and Lakshman are producing the movie under the banners of Rajashyamala Entertainments and Bridge Films.
The film has already created interest with its teaser, trailer and other promotional material. ‘Mahendragiri Vaarahi’ is set to release in theatres on September 11. The makers recently held the pre-release event, which was attended by Akhil Akkineni as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Akhil said he was impressed with the film’s content after watching the teaser and trailer.
“Congratulations to Lakshman garu for producing a film like this. These days, audiences will come to theatres only when there is good content. After watching the teaser and trailer, I feel ‘Mahendragiri Vaarahi’ is definitely a film that should be watched in theatres. Our industry needs more producers who are willing to back such stories.
“I have been very close to Sumanth since childhood. I grew up in his lap and used to ask him for whatever I wanted. He never said no to me. Seeing him here today made me very happy. I love you, brother.
“I also want to appreciate Siddu for being part of this film. His movies are doing very well, but he has still come forward to support another film. I hope I get an opportunity to work with him someday. Santosh garu has worked very hard on this film. I am confident that ‘Mahendragiri Vaarahi’ will be a big hit. I request everyone to watch it in theatres on September 11.” Siddu Jonnalagadda congratulated Akhil on the success of ‘Lenin’ and praised his performance in the film. He said he was particularly impressed by the final 40 minutes. Talking about ‘Mahendragiri Vaarahi’, Siddu said producer Madhu was the main reason he came on board. He also spoke highly of Sumanth and said he has always chosen different kinds of films. Siddu added that he enjoyed working with Sumanth and praised Santosh Jagarlapudi for handling the film well.
