Super Star Rajinikanth met the audiences with the exciting project Petta in January. The movie became a big hit at the box-office and he is all set to begin his next film now. After taking a small break to look after his political party works and daughter's wedding works, Rajini is finally free now and wanted to begin his new film post the elections.
Rajinikanth will begin his 166th movie soon in the direction of star filmmaker AR Murugadoss. Nayanathara is on board to play the heroine and the regular shoot of the film is expected to begin from 10th April. The film unit roped in Santhosh Srinivas to crank the camera and Anirudh Ravichander will score the music for the movie.
Lyca Productions are producing the film and they scheduled the film's release for Sankranthi next year.
