Lady Superstar Nayanthara recently came up with a horror thriller 'Airaa'. For the first time in her career, Nayan played a dual role in this film which made it into the screens on March 28th.
Written and directed by KM Sarjun, the movie carried a decent buzz but opened to a lukewarm response from the audience. The movie got released in Telugu and Tamil languages. In Tamil Nadu, the movie made a gross of 7.5 crores in 4 days. The movie also got released in Telugu with the same title but the lack of promotions became one of the major reasons behind the failure of the film. Also, as the mouth word of mouth is also bad, 'Airaa' failed to make good collections at the box office.
