Photographer with ace G. Venkat Ram has shot the replication with these divas and captured those historical moments.

His reproduction is so precise that it is difficult to distinguish between the new and the original 19th-century paintings.

To mark a decade of empowering single women from under-served segments of society, NAAM Charitable Trust, founded by actor and director Suhasini Maniratnam, is putting out the calendar.

1. Samantha Akkineni is an expectant mother in this frame

Holding a fruit in one hand, and placing her saree right with another, Samantha shared an amazing picture of herself and wrote, "Always work best with you @venketramg... Recreation of Ravi Varma's to NAAM work. I could be a part of this meaningful project so happy. Thank you. "While the wife and former actress of Mahesh Babu, Namrata Shirodkar, called Sam' so pretty,' bold bombshell Kriti Kharbanda exclaimed 'Wow!"

2. Shruti Haasan is the Rani of Kurupam

Most recently, famous actress and celebrated singer Shruti Haasan ringed in London on her 34th birthday. The beautiful gal is back to business with two big-ticket movies down south, after taking a brief break from acting to reassess things and reshape her future in the showbiz world. In comparison to others, two paintings by Raja Ravi Varma were recreated by Shruti Haasan. Whereas one picture is a lady sitting by the river, The other one is Kurupam Rani. Slipping into the shooting sarees, Shruti posted the pictures and wrote "Such an amazing shooting experience and such a privilege to be associated with this cause! Thank you @suhasinihasan Akka for making me such a memorable part of something. '

3. Shruti Haasan slips into a purple saree and sits by the river


In contrast to others, two paintings by Raja Ravi Varma was recreated by Shruti Haasan. While one picture is a lady sitting alongside the river, the other is Kurupam's Rani. The actress was dressed in a purple saree for the former picture, and sat by the riverside. She posted the photos on her social handle and wrote "Such an amazing experience shooting for this and such an honor to be associated with this cause!! Thankyou @suhasinihasan Akka for making me a part of something so memorable."

4. Aishwarya Rajesh is the Rani of Pudukkottai

Kollywood beauty Aishwarya Rajesh has effectively replicated the titular character of an amateur cricketer in Kanaa's Kousalya Krishnamurthy Telugu remake. The 29-year-old actress deserved all the recognition for the effort she put into the role and hard work. She stepped into the shoes of a high minded woman, the Pudukkottai Rani, for Venkat Ram's calendar shoot. Sharing her photos on Instagram, Aishwarya wrote "It was a fantastic experience working with G Venkat Ram (@venketramg) and Suhasini (@suhasinihasan) for recreating Ravi Varma project for NAAM. So glad I could participate in such a meaningful project. gvenketram"

5. Manchu Lakshmi is Rani Chimnabai 1

Manchu Lakshmi stepped into Rani Chimnabai 1 shoes, after whom the palace of Lakshmi Vilas in Tanjore is named. The A 42-year-old actress, dressed in a violet traditional saree, looked regal and elegant in the photo. She shared her pictures on her social handle and wrote "Straight from the canvas. Recreating a painter's muse with relentless zeal necessitates equal bravery. One courageous artist is @venketramg.

6. Ramya Krishnan turns into Damayanti

Veteran heroine Ramya Krishnan was Damayanti, the princess of the Kingdom of Vidarbha who married King Nala of the Kingdom of Nishadh. In the frame, she looked like a spitting image of the original character.
