Duration of High School Examinations extended by TN Directorate

CHENNAI: On Tuesday, the board exam duration of Classes X, XI and XII have been extended by 30 minutes by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations. According to the announcement, the students will be granted three hours to write the exam instead of two-and-half hours.
C Usharani, the director of government examinations in a release had said, "The duration was extended after getting requests from students."
The examinations of class XII will be held from March 2 to March 24, 2020. The Class XI board exam will be held from March 4 to March 26, and Class X exams from March 27 to April 13, 2020.
