LIC Assistant Notification 2019: Released over 8000 vacancies, apply at licindia.in

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has invited online applications for the Assistant post. In India, there are over 8000 vacancies in different states and regions.

The applicant must be a graduate in any subject from a recognised university.

The online application process starts from September 17, 2019, and the last date is October 1, 2019. Examination call letters will be available for download from October 15 to 22. The preliminary examination will be held on October 21 and 22.

Candidates need to visit the official website at licindia.in to download the official notification and check the vacancies details state/ division- wise.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on a two-tier process, specifically online preliminary test and main exam followed by a pre-recruitment medical examination. Candidates who clear both the recruitment exams need to go under a pre-recruitment medical test.

OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD candidates will be given a chance to go through a pre-exam training that will be directed before the prelims test.

Three days after the submission of application is closed, the dates for the same will be notified. These candidates need to register separately for this pre-exam training and attend the training at their own cost.

SC/ST and PwD candidates: Rs 85

Other candidates: Rs 510 + GST charges
