Giving Indian art a global platform

A dream turning into reality is not magic, but it travels a long journey through interests and aspirations! And for an artist, dreams take a shape with the use of colours more the colours, brighter the dream.

A self-taught painter, Madhuri, who is now settled in San Francisco, USA, believes canvas is her medium to express her dreams and is the path to self-discovery.

Inspired by her mother's 'rangoli' as a kid, Madhuri started dealing with colours from a very young age.

The innate talent in Madhuri was recognised at a very young age, when she received accolades at the national level, and ever since there has been no looking back.

A dreamer, who loves to capture her thoughts, Madhuri has developed strong command over various forms of paintings, without any formal training.

From colour portraits to murals, from sand art to Tanjore paintings, Madhuri has done some exceptionally great works in at least six forms of paintings.

Nature and portrait paintings are the most common theme found in the majority of the artworks done by Madhuri.

Her paintings are in great demand across America.

Interestingly, her paintings adorn not just Indian households, but of those Americans who have a special liking for Indian art forms.

A mother of two, and a professional technocrat, Madhuri believes painting is not a hobby or a means to unwind, but it is a serious passion that she lives with every day.

Being a constant learner, Madhuri believes that art is not what the artist sees, but what the others feel.

Madhuri has done 120 paintings and counting across six forms of paintings.

Some of her notable artworks include Thanjore, Madhubani, Murals, Warli, and Texture Painting.
