Puttaparthi: Protecting consumer rights is the government’s primary objective, stated Sri Sathya Sai District Joint Collector Maurya Bharadwaj while inaugurating the 16th National Consumer Awareness Conference at Puttaparthi on Saturday.
Organized by CAPCO and the Consumer Coordination Council, the summit marks 35 years of the CCC movement.
CAPCO Chairman G Suresh Kumar urged citizens to adopt a questioning mindset. Delegates from ten states are discussing modern challenges such as e-commerce fraud, AI data protection, digital payments, and grievance redressal, emphasizing collective action to strengthen consumer advocacy nationwide.
