Anantapur: Mohammad Naseer Ahmed, Chairman of AP Legislative Assembly Committee on Minority Welfare, held a review meeting on Friday at Anantapur Collectorate with district Collector O Anand, SP P Jagadeesh and other officials.

He stated that the government is striving for minority welfare and development, urging the district administration to ensure benefits reach the grassroots. Emphasising inclusive growth under ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Swarnandhra’, he highlighted the need for education, skill development, women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship. Directions were issued for monthly skill training of 250 persons, bank linkage for minority SHGs, removal of encroachments on Waqf land, revenue generation, health camps and strict adherence to reservations in appointments. A roadmap for the next 6-8 months will be prepared to make Anantapur a model for minority welfare.
