Puttaparthi: TDP tickets in upcoming local body elections will be awarded strictly to capable candidates with winning potential, announced Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy.
Delivering a major blow to the opposition, YSRCP leaders and youth from Brahmanapalli Thanda joined the TDP on Thursday. Led by Satish Naik, members of 25 families were welcomed into the party by MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy and former minister Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy at the camp office.
Leaders attributed the mass defection to public satisfaction with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s welfare initiatives and developmental governance across the constituency.
