Udupi: Adluri Laxman Kumar, Cabinet Minister for SC Development, Tribal Welfare, Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens, and Minorities Empowerment in the Government of Telangana, visited the Udupi Sri Krishna Matha on Tuesday to seek the blessings of the deity. After having darshan of Lord Krishna, the minister interacted with temple authorities to learn about the rich religious heritage, customs, and daily management of the pilgrimage center.
To mark his visit, the Paryaya Sri Shiroor Matha hosted a formal facilitation honouring the visiting dignitary. Dewan of the Paryaya Matha Uday Kumar Saralattaya, Parupathyagara Srisha Bhat Kadekar, and Venkataramana Muchintaya were among the prominent temple officials present during the ceremony.
