Bohra community serves the needy
Hyderabad: On the occasion of World Food Day, Dawoodi Bohra volunteers and students from MSB Educational Institute collected dry rations and served food to over 10,000 less fortunate people at Tirmulgerry, Alwal and Ranigunj.
They also spread the message of Zero Hunger through talks and workshops at local community centres. Ammar Shakir, Project Rise coordinator in Secunderabad said, “Sharing food is something our community does every day.
Today we simply opened our kitchens wider. Every volunteer who collected, carried or delivered food did it with the care they would show their own family.”
