Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy extended a formal invitation to Prince Rahim Aga Khan V to attend the prestigious Telangana Global Summit 2026, scheduled to take place over three days starting December 7 at Bharat Future City. During a courtesy meeting held at the Taj Falaknuma Palace on Tuesday, the Chief Minister urged the Prince to explore collaborative opportunities across education, tourism, and healthcare sectors within Telangana state. Revanth Reddy briefed Prince Rahim Aga Khan V on the ambitious Musi river rejuvenation project and sought the expertise of the Aga Khan Foundation in restoring the historic City College and Osmania Hospital structures situated within the Musi catchment zone.

The Chief Minister requested Prince Rahim Aga Khan V to consider developing the existing heritage building of Osmania Hospital under the foundation’s aegis, highlighting that a new hospital complex is currently being constructed at Goshamahal. Revanth Reddy outlined his vision for constructing Bharat Future City across 30,000 acres, prompting keen interest from Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, who inquired about the strategic location of the upcoming urban development. The Chief Minister shared that global major Amazon has already commenced operations within Future City, adding that representatives from over 100 countries will participate in the upcoming summit, where the state government is making elaborate arrangements to showcase investment prospects.

Advisor to the Chief Minister, Ramakrishna Rao, briefed Prince Rahim Aga Khan V on agreements recently inked between the Telangana government and world-renowned academic institutions during official visits to the United Kingdom and the United States.

He highlighted that premier institutions including Harvard University and the London School of Business, among other prominent universities, have agreed to establish educational operations in Hyderabad.
