Hyderabad: Enforcement Directorate officials conducted searches at offices and residences of Attica Gold Private Limited and its directors in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam under money laundering laws.
Raids followed allegations that Attica Gold Private Limited Bengaluru, its shareholders, and key associates including PS Ayub alias Bomanahali Babu, Obedulla, Mohammed Salman, and their family members were habitually involved in purchasing and acquiring stolen gold articles.
The investigation stems from multiple police FIRs registered against the firm for acquiring stolen property from various individuals. During operations, officials seized Rs 7.52 lakh in cash, foreign currency, and gold and silver items from company premises and director residences.
