Hyderabad: The state government has decided to provide an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the families of infants who died in a fire accident at Adilabad RIMS.
Following instructions from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Health Minister C Damodar Raja Narsimha announced the financial relief. The minister inquired about the health status of children undergoing treatment in various Adilabad hospitals and directed that they be shifted to prominent private hospitals in Hyderabad for superior care if required.
Furthermore, the minister revealed that construction of a 150-bed Maternal and Child Health Center at RIMS would commence on a war footing to ensure state-of-the-art medical facilities become available swiftly.
