The policemen of Langer Houz police station have been facing the brunt of the mosquito.So many from the same police station have fallen prey to dengue.
Hyderabad: The policemen of Langer Houz police station have been facing the brunt of the mosquito.So many from the same police station have fallen prey to dengue.
Two police officers were successively affected in a span of 15 days by this mosquito-borne viral infection. While the Detective Sub-Inspector R Narender was affected with dengue and recovered, Station House Officer Ch Srinivas and several constables too were affected.
R Narender, Detective Sub-Inspector (DSI) of Langer Houz police station, said that as the police station was beside the Army area, there are a lot of trees and a breeding ground for mosquitoes. "GHMC is undertaking fogging every 15 to 20 days in residential and commercial areas,"says the GHMC chief entomologist.
