Locals distressed by wine shop chaos
Manjunadha Wines in Madinaguda has the locals residing around the shop up in arms over nuisance being created by drunkards.

Madinaguda: Manjunadha Wines in Madinaguda has the locals residing around the shop up in arms over nuisance being created by drunkards.
The locality is home to nearly 6,000 people from all walks of life. Being located in a highly-populated area, the wine the shop is near two schools, namely Genesis International and Meru International School, which are renowned schools in the locality.
Due to a few incidents of recent ruckus created by the drunkards, the locals are concerned it will leave a wrong impression on their children. Amar, a local resident, shares, "In the morning during school time several school buses line up to pick up children and drop children in the lane adjacent to the wine shop. This is the worst sight for any child to see a drunkard lying unconscious on the side of road or sipping alcohol or smoking cigarette. It can be a bad influence on the children."
Children, elders, and even strangers walking on the road have to walk across drunkards who pass out on the sides of the road. Sometimes, they even have to tackle a few to go back home. "The situation is horrible in the evening where autos, bikers, and cars everyone park their vehicles on road causing traffic," he added further. The residents request authorities to shift the wine shop but so far they have got no reply from the authorities.
