Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner T Vinay Krishna Reddy instructed officials on Tuesday to inspect and remove encroachments on Rythu Bazaar Road to ensure the stretch remains accessible to the public.
During a field inspection across Vanasthalipuram limits, the Commissioner ordered the development of road medians, traffic islands, and overall area beautification, alongside reviewing local parks, roads, and drainage infrastructure.
Inspecting the park at Kranthi Hills Colony, Vinay Krishna Reddy directed authorities to initiate road construction and erect a protective compound wall. To address rainwater stagnation and flooding in Sharda Nagar, the Commissioner advised officials to prepare formal proposals for constructing a box drain stretching from Kamala Nagar to Sharda Nagar.
Inspecting the park area in Medical and Health Colony, he directed staff to formulate plans for installing an open gym to promote community fitness. During a visit to the BN Reddy Nagar day care centre, he instructed officials to ensure regular salary disbursements for working staff.
