NTPC chips in to boost Swachh drive in city
With the objective of providing better civic amenities and to ensure better management of sanitation situation in the city, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recently launched ‘Swachh Hyderabad-Shaandaar Hyderabad’ programme.
Hyderabad: With the objective of providing better civic amenities and to ensure better management of sanitation situation in the city, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recently launched 'Swachh Hyderabad-Shaandaar Hyderabad' programme.
NTPC as part of its corporate responsibility has chipped in by providing five portable fog machines to the corporation to promote its cleanliness initiative. D K Dubey, Regional Executive Director (South), NTPC, handed over the machines to GHMC officials at the Independence Day celebrations held on the SRHQ office premises on Thursday, for efficient combating of mosquitoes which carry the deadly viruses.
Arupratan Maiti, CGM, K V Prasad, CGM (Finance), R Hari Kumar, GM (HR), Ramesh Mehata, GM(Expediting) , several senior executives, employees and GHMC officials were present at the programme.
