Rs 21-Crore Road Under Bridge Sanctioned in Tellapur, Says MP Raghunandan Rao

Hyderabad: Medak MP Raghunandan Rao said a road under bridge worth Rs 21 crore has been sanctioned in the Tellapur division under the Patancheru constituency. On Wednesday, he met South Central Railway GM Sanjay Kumar Sri Vatsava, thanked him, and discussed railway issues and new proposals in the Medak Parliament constituency. Later, he spoke to the media. He said he has paid special attention to issues pending for decades in the Medak Parliament constituency. As part of this, we have sanctioned the road under bridge (RUB) demanded by the people in Telapur and Bhel areas, and work will start soon. On Saturday, he will conduct a site inspection along with railway officials and officials of other departments. He said.

Rao said a foot over bridge has been sanctioned to remove the inconvenience faced by passengers at Tellapur railway station, and work will start by the end of this month. He said that the problems faced by the people of Tellapur and Bhel area for a long time will be resolved.

The MP said that he has requested the GM to extend every MMTS train coming up to Lingampalli to Ramachandrapuram and Nagulapalli. He said that, with the large population increase in West Hyderabad, expanding MMTS is the only way to reduce traffic and improve transport facilities. However, he said the GM had said these proposals must come from the state government. He demanded that the state government take steps in this direction.
