Sports day celebrated at Army Public School
Army Public School, RK Puram, celebrated its 23rd annual sports day on Friday with great zeal and excitement amid frolicsome atmosphere. The theme for the event was ‘Water – The elixir of Life.’

The principal Damaris pointed out the importance of sports in a child's life and welcomed the esteemed gathering. Brigadier JJS Bhinder, Commandant, AOC Centre and chairman of the school, was the chief guest. Brigadier Bhinder took the salute of the impressive march past of students, accompanied by the stirring marching music by the band.
The students exhibited their talents in various sporting events. They showcased a karate display which mesmerised the audience with their energetic performance. Raheem House was declared as the overall best house. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest commended the school staff for the meticulous planning and execution of the sports day events
