Tabla Jugalbandi

Anuradha Pal is a Tabla virtuoso, multi-percussionist and music composer who has been described as the "first professional female tabla player in the world" by Encyclopedia Britannica and the Limca Book of Records. A disciple of Ustad Alla Rakha and Zakir Hussain, she performed at the Woodstock Festival in 2008 with her World music band, Anuradha Pal's Recharge for an audience of 400,000 people.

Interwoven with the traditional repertoire of six gharanas , Anuradha pal presents an innovative, rhythmic dialogue with interactive stories from life and our epics and mythology. The artist will be accompanied by Tushar Ratari on the keyboard.
