Artexpo New York 2019, the annual fine art destination is celebrating the 41st milestone this year. They are also hosting over 400 plus innovative exhibiting artists from 40- plus countries. Kappari Kishan is one of the artists and photographers participating from India. And he is representing Telangana at the show to be held between April 4 and 7 along with another artist Sonaly Gandhi.

Since they are the largest international expo for art, he has always dreamed of participating in the show. "This is the first time that I will be displaying my work at 'Artexpo New York' and I am very happy about the opportunity that came to me."
Apart from this expo Kappari Kishan is also displaying his work at the fifth edition of 'World Art Dubai' 2019 art fair from 3 – 6 April 2019 at Dubai World Trade Centre. 'World Art Dubai' hosts an impressive collection of more than 3,000 artworks from renowned galleries and solo artists from over 30 countries. "Since, seven years I am participating in 'World Art Dubai' art fair. And I am the only artist from Telangana," he shares.
'About the works he plans to showcase at both the events, he says, "While one section of my body (women) of work concentrates on the traditionally attired, dusky women of Telangana, the other works are based on recreating the spiritual and meditative strengths of Buddha, the enlightened one, which I read in books. Both series of my works are rendered in stark, clear linear quality and a flamboyant colour palette."
Thota Vaikuntam is his inspiration he says, "My inspiration is Thota Vaikuntam as I have worked along with him. I also wanted to do something related to the life of our city."
