Karimnagar: Dr D Harikanth, Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Business Management at Satavahana University, has been selected for the Telangana State Government’s Best Teacher Award (State Meritorious Teacher Award).
He will receive the award at a special programme to be held in Hyderabad on Saturday (September 5) on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. Dr Harikanth completed his PhD in Commerce from Kakatiya University and joined Satavahana University as an Assistant Professor in 2015. During his tenure, he has held several key academic and administrative positions. He is also the secretary of the Telangana Commerce Teachers’ Association and an executive member of the Indian Commerce Association.
